Easle-Darkpaws

So I haven't done anything in a couple of years.  I've been busy having surgery on my hands and working on my degree in Music Performance.  I decided to do a course on color and painting since I hadn't touched serious art in more than a year; this is the end result, and it took over six hours (2 hours actual brush strokes and over 4 hours of studying, practicing, learning how to balance light and anatomy).  Quite possibly the hardest thing I've ever had to do.  It's far from perfect, but I'd say about 8000% better than all of my previous work.  As such I am archiving or removing much of my past work since it no longer pleases me!

Holy crap....it's been like....over a year since I've done anything on here...how odd.

It's probably not as great as most peoples, but these are some sketches and finished pieces I've done over the past year.

I think I've progressed quite far with my work and the nice community is also a good bonus for me.  Happy Birthday DA!
